KALIMANTAN – INDONESIA 2018

An exciting itinerary to dive in the best places of Indonesian Borneo: Derawan, Kakaban, Sangalaki and Maratua Atoll. During the first stage of the trip we will make a cruise aboard the Raja Ampat Aggressor, to continue with a second stage on the island of Nabucco and ending on the island of Nunukan. A total of 50 dives to get the best pictures.

THE DESTINATION
A mix of all types of dives, from macro to wide angle. In Derawan small critters are mixed with whale sharks, in Sangalaki we will dive in search of the mantas, in Kakaban we will visit the jellyfish lake and in Maratua we will see large schools of barracudas and all the fauna of the coral reef.

BOAT AND RESORTS
The Raja Ampat Aggressor, with 30 meters of length and capacity for 16 divers, all of them in double cabins.

Nabucco Resort and Nunukan Resort are located in the Maratua atoll and are small properties very specialized in diving and with many years of experience in the area.

ITINERARY – 21 DAYS 

AUG/06 – Flight Madrid or Barcelona – Dubai – Jakarta. Night on board.

AUG/07 – Arrival in Jakarta. Transfer to the hotel. Accommodation.

AUG/08 – Flight Jakarta – Tarakan. Transfer to the boat and start of navigation.

AUG/09 to 13 – Diving cruise.

AUG/14 – Last day of diving. In the afternoon, disembark and transfer to the island of Nabucco. Accommodation.

AUG/15 to 20 – Stay at Nabucco Island Resort and dive program.

AUG/21 – Diving in the morning. In the afternoon transfer to Nunukan Island. Accommodation.

AUG/22 to 27 – Stay at Nunukan Island Resort and dive program.

AUG/28 – Transfer to Berau. Flight Berau – Jakarta – Dubai – Madrid or Barcelona. Night on board.

AUG/29 – Arrival and end of the trip.
