GREAT HAMMERHEAD SHARK EXPEDITION – II – BAHAMAS 2018

A trip program focused on the photography of the great hammerhead shark (Sphyrna mokarran) although we will also have opportunities to dive with other species of sharks and different marine fauna, such as bull sharks, tiger sharks, lemon sharks, gray sharks, rays. THE DESTINATION
This small island of the Bahamas was always known by the migratory population of bull sharks, but for some years it has been discovered that in other zones also migrate great hammerhead sharks.

We will also have a chance to dive at Honeymoon Harbor, where the thorny stingrays are concentrated, at Bull Run (an interesting spot for gray sharks and bulls) and explore coral reefs.

THE RESORT
Big Game Club & Marina is a property founded in 1947 and that is a world reference among the sport fishermen and the most experienced divers of the world.

 

This small property, located in the archipelago of Bimini has 51 rooms and suites in the main building plus 6 cottages, all very comfortable and with all amenities.

ITINERARY – 10 DAYS

23/FEB – Flight Madrid or Barcelona – Miami. Transfer by road to Fort Lauderdale. Accommodation in a hotel near the airport.

24/FEB – Transfer to the airport. Fligt to Bimini. Hotel.

25/FEB to 2/MAR – Days of stay in Bimini, diving in the best places of the zone for the encounter with the great hammerhead shark.

3/MAR – Transfer to Bimini airport and flight to Fort Lauderdale. Spain. Transfer by road to Miami airport and return flight to Spain.Night on board.

4/MAR – Arrival in Spain and end of the trip.
